Sanguine Sun | Cinematic Art-Folk
Music has always been a bridge for me, even when the path was paused. I was raised on the tales of ancient times, spoken by the linguist’s tongue of my father and the spiritual quietude of my grandfather. They taught me that sound is not just what we hear, but what we carry. I was introduced to the infinite early by my grandfather through the lens of Christian Science, learning that Spirit is a guiding force that never truly leaves us. As a child, I would walk the earth with him and my dog, Shadow, connected strongly to nature and the higher frequencies of a search for serenity.
My professional portfolio began with my first official release, Moon In The Water, followed by Broken Wing—a real demo recorded on minimal equipment that captured the ‘authentic resonance’ of a moment that could not wait for a commercial polish. These works remain the foundation of my lyrical archive.
My latest work, Sanguine Sun, is an excavation of that heritage. The opening line—‘Remember when you told me tales of ancient times’—is a direct bridge to those roots, exploring the ‘Silence of my bones’ that followed. That silence wasn’t just a metaphor; it was a physical reality—a period of facing deep pain and transition. When the world offered only a pharmaceutical veil to silence the signal, I chose to walk instead. Guided by the spirit of Shadow, and later by two other beautiful, earthbound ‘bundles of love,’ I would walk the earth until the pain released its grip to ease the physical pains’.
I am profoundly grateful for the selfless souls who appeared when I was pulled in many directions, helping me overcome fear and reconnect to the guiding force of Spirit. In particular, I carry a deep debt to two individuals, generations apart, who rarely receive credit for their foresight. They appeared on a parallel path to show me how to break the old journey of perceived restriction within. Their selfless direction allowed me to realise that even when a path is paused, the music is still being written in the quick.

Quality Over Noise
I work quietly, evolving in the space between my spiritual work and the modernity of current times. As an independent architect of my own vision—from handwritten lyrics to original photography and hybrid-symphonic scores—I prefer quality over noise. While the release of my next demo and music video, ‘This House,’ is paused as we refine our equipment, these new narratives—’Sanguine Sun’ and ‘Carry Us [Velvet Night ]’—have crept into the space. I write in purity, choosing the heart over the material.
