Where Dreams Live

An evolving collection of music, lyrics, visual art, photography, poetry and creative works by Michèle Keatley.

.Photography & Landscape
A moving collection of photographs exploring the UK’s countryside and coastlines, capturing changing light, natural forms, atmosphere and the quiet relationship between people and place.

Photography becomes a way of slowing down and noticing — the fleeting light, textures, colours and quiet moments that give a landscape its character.

The gallery offers a glimpse into my evolving creative practice, bringing together visual art, photography, poetry, art prints, art cards and selected creative work shaped by nature, landscape, memory and spirit.
Some pieces begin with a place, an image or a moment observed in the natural world. Others emerge through language, colour, music or the intuitive process of making. Each is allowed to develop in its own way.
New work is always in process. Alongside the visual collection, I am developing a forthcoming collection of poetry and lyrics, bringing together some of the words that have emerged through this continuing creative journey.
The work is rooted in a sense of connection — to place, to nature, to creativity and to the experiences we carry with us — with the intention of creating space for reflection, curiosity and a sense of wonder.

Nature, Place & Creative Language

Intuitive art shaped by the natural world, language, form and the relationship between ecological and spiritual experience.

From the coastlines and national parks of the United Kingdom to the southern shores of Bali, Indonesia, place continues to influence the way I see, write and create.

“Not all those who wonder are lost.”
— Michèle Keatley (inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien)

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

A unique fusion of visual splendour & spiritual depth.

.A contemporary creative practice bringing together poetry, photography, visual art, music and lyrics, exploring nature, landscape, spirituality and the emotional connections that shape our lives.

@sarahjmcdonaldart –  Michèle’s art, takes the power of nature and the notion of human intervention in a co-operative way. Mich’s stone artsculptures, at Durdle Doore, (photographed as on instagram) – portray echoes of Easter Island. Solidity and time are very prevalent in this set of photos.”
